Epic Monopoly II Has Two Sets of Reels
If you are a fan of the board game that has inspired this slot, Epic Monopoly II will keep you tied to the chair for hours on end, gasping with anticipation for the next exciting bonus round. Developed by SG Interactive in association with Hasbro, this slot features not one, but two sets of reels – The Main Reel Set and the Colossal Reel Set. There are two special symbols, Wild and Bonus. The Wild can substitute all symbols except the Bonus one and the Bonus can only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 of both sets.
There are four fun and rewarding bonus rounds that you have to look forward to – The Epic Wheel, Epic Free Spins, Epic Chance and the Around the Board Bonus. The first one is played on a wheel, as you can tell by the name and it is triggered by 3 or more Bonus symbols. But what you really want to get is 6 symbols, which will also take you to the bonus rounds and give a payout of 100 times your bet. Prizes on the wheel include multipliers of up to 500 times per 2 lines, up to 20 free spins, 2 to 10 deice rolls for the Around the Board Bonus, the Epic Chance and a re-spin with a times two multiplier.
The Epic Chance round makes you choose between 5 cards and you can win one of the following: up to 500 times your bet per 2 lines, 20 free spins, 10 dice rolls for the Around the Board Bonus or pick again with up to 5 multiplied wins. And last, but by no means least, the Around the Board Bonus round and my personal favourite, because it’s exactly like the board game, only with real-money wins. During this round, you get to spin the dice and advance on the board by moving across the squares. There are a ton of different payouts and multipliers spread across the board, but the Jail is still there and you might want to stay clear of it, as you will not be able to reach the GO square, thus missing out on that award. All the familiar symbols are at hand, starting with properties, railroad lines, parking, the electric company and, as mentioned, even jail.
There are many more surprises and features hidden in this slot, but I don’t want to spoil your fun, so I suggest you discover them yourself. All in all, I had an amazing time trying this game out and I have to say that the return to player of 96.1% doesn’t worry me one bit, since the bonus rounds are more than enough to fill your pockets and put a big smile on your face.
